Handleless Scandinavian Kitchen
JB Bespoke | Tonbridge, Kent
Inspired by the neutral palettes, clean lines, and wooden furniture of Scandinavian interiors, our client wanted her open-plan kitchen, dining and living space to reflect the design ethos of simplicity, minimalism and functionality. Perfectly meeting this brief, our team designed a Jones Britain Bespoke handleless kitchen, a modern and elegant interior that seamlessly blends style with practicality.
The island is a stunning centrepiece that combines practicality with modern elegance, with a sleek, curved design that creates a sense of flow and openness in the space. The 40mm solid oak breakfast provides a natural contrast to the smooth, white cabinetry below, with this blend of materials adding depth and sophistication to the overall aesthetic. The contemporary bar stools, with chrome bases and soft, light grey upholstery, make it a perfect spot for casual dining or socialising while meals are being prepared. Our designers also included minimalist pendant lights above, adding illumination and a touch of industrial chic.
Key Features
- 12mm Neolith Cement Satin Sintered Stone worktops

This kitchen is a harmonious blend of modern design and cosy, welcoming elements, making it an ideal space for cooking and socialising. Designed for natural light to flood the space and with an open and airy layout, our designers created a seamless flow between the kitchen and the adjacent dining area. Its thoughtful design and high-quality finishes make it a standout feature in our client’s Tonbridge home, promising beauty and practicality for years to come.
A Note From Our Designer...
“Our design uses clean white painted cabinetry complimented by oak handleless profiles and book-matched oak wall cupboards. The Neolith worksurfaces add a natural sharpness to the look and the oak breakfast bar brings a warm softness to the island. Grey mirror splashback emphasises and extends the open space reflected. The white cabinetry continues into the dining area, providing additional storage and surfaces.”
